Scimitar Developments Limited was established in January 1989.  We are a Property Development Company based in Cardiff that specialises in the construction of high specification executive residential properties, apartments and commercial office buildings in Cardiff, Gwent and Mid Glamorgan.

Since its inception, Scimitar Developments Limited has built up a portfolio of investment property both residential and commercial. 

In January 2005 our residential apartment development at Gibbs Road, Newport was nominated for the Built-In Quality Awards by Newport City Council and came second to a National House Building Company. The award is for the quality of information provided for Building Regulation Approval, (drawings, specifications etc.), the on-going working relationship with the Building Control Officers through to the satisfactory completion of the on-site build works.

In 2006 our residential development of four 5 bedroomed detached properties at Coedkernew, Newport was nominated for the Built-In Quality Awards by Newport City Council. The scheme was the winner in the Multiple Dwelling Category beating a National House Building Company into second place.

Following the completion of the development at Coedkernew, Newport, the company has been accepted as a NHBC Registered Builder.
